Question About Genetic Striped BCI

adihoile Feb 07, 2003 10:10 AM

I have two hets for striped BCI. What would be the best (cheapest) projects for them. Is the striped trait a co-Dom gene or Resessive? Heres a pic of one...

Thanks for any advise, Ade

First you say you have het for stripes, then ask if they are co-dom or dom.

Well, they really can only be one or the other. If they are indeed hets then you should breed them together to produce stripes.

If its co-dom then breed them into albinos or hypos.

Also, this is the same picture you have showed us on several occasions. Can we see a new one with a full body shot? I also would like to know, are there any diamond patterns at all on either side of that snake?
