Chameleon Condo?

son of sam Oct 20, 2003 11:55 PM

Hello! I am planning on getting a panther chameleon as soon as my enclosure is set up and complete. I was looking online for plans when I came across the Chameleon Condo. It looked like a cool idea for a wall less cage that would not only house your chameleon but also be a focal point of your house. To all of you who have expirience with cham. are these cages worth while or has anyone talked to anybody who has used one? Any info on this would be great. I was also thinking of possibly modifying the condo. Any imput would be great. Thanks.

P.S. For those of you who might not have seen it here is the link!

Do a search, I think that cage has been mentioned several times in the last month or so.

hi i would not buy the chameleon condo if my life depended upon it. It is almost as bad as putting a chameleon in a tank as far as i am concerned. You will notice it is quite difficult to get up... must find a stud..... must screw into stud, make sure everything is level etc...

your cham will burn itself on the 130 watt powersun while their is no foliage to hide for the cham...

if u are looking for a system based on your standards insted of your chams, dont have a cham--- i already had this problem...

that wasnt meant to be threatening, just laying out my bias towards the chameleon condo.
