(Nearly 1 month & $1200. latter)...
He will be going back in to the vet tomorrow for follow up blood work to get an idea of his white blood cell count, and maybe another radiograph. When it was taken at the Davis University clinic it was a bit lower than the initial test from the 25th of Sept(yeah, its been that long already), and were hoping that its has dropped more. Consisdering his activity level has increased dramatically, and he can actually pick his body off the ground, where before he caould barely crawl, and inched himself with his belly.
Heres the big improvement...he ate a fuzzy mouse on sat. His first solid meal since the 23rd of Sept. His shedding is beginning to improve(although it smells HORRID!!), and he has shown absolutely no more neurological symptoms.
He still has a ways before hes healthy, but he is displaying wonderful signs of rehabilitation. The thing that is odd to me is that his weight is nearly the same as the first time he was seen... Heres his current stats: Hewey is nearly 9 mo old, 5lb 4oz, and 39 3/4in. Wonder how big he'll be next oct?
