well it depends.they both grow up to be good pets.they are both handleable too.the only downfall to uros is they sometimes have a hard time shedding their tail.I have one mali right now that is still getting over his shedding problem.I would go with the collard lizard but it is really up to you.Ive kept both of these lizards in captivity and they are great animals to handle or enjoy.if you need some care info after youve chosen just ask and Ill help you out.

nick yours didnt finish its whole tail yet or this is a new shed? are you keeping it dry? ,its normal for them to hold the tail shed for a long time then one day it'll just pop off. I dont even give my a second glance when he's shedding anymore excpt somtimes i do his toes for him he just stays in a constant state of shed by the time he's done he's already started again although he has slowed down he's close to his full size just another inch or two

yeah mine is still shedding its tail.It is dry in his cage.the guy I bought him from said they get all their moisture from the food they eat.other than his tail he sheds perfect everywhere else.but yes I have noticed that the shed on their tails just kind of pops off.It seems kind of weird but every lizard is a little different.hey how are your bluetailed tree lizard eggs doing?did that guy respond back to you?If not you might try writing to reptiles magazine about them.

i didnt get a reply from the guy with the add but i found inqubation temperatures on a website with little snippets on information, though i think they may be dead the one i know isn't gonna hatch becuase it shriveled up if i hold the good egg up to the light what should i be looking for in it? the egg is hard so i dont think i'll hurt it

well if it were me I would just leave the egg alone.I dont know how this would affect it.Its all up to you.if your lucky they might lay a few more clutches of eggs before there next cooling
