Egg Sac?

herpfood Oct 21, 2003 02:09 PM

Hello all,
OK, I've told the story of my hatchlings! Pretty much I never see them eating... I'm going to move them all into a ten gallon with a good filter, heavily planted(By the way does anyone know of un toxic petstore plants(ex cabumba, lol or something like that)), basking are, with a flurescent and special heat lamp over them.

TO THE POINT... Eggsacs... At the bottom of my turtles there are some grey flat knoby like things(all in some place), that I believe to be identified as the eggsac. BU there grey, and two of thems "egg sacs" seem to be slowy like coming off "YUCK", kind of like skin.

COuld this be why they aren't eating?

PS: One of my turtles has his egg tooth still, lol

It is not eggsac it is yolk sac. you will give someone the wrong impreesion. When I first read the subject I was thinking thta you thought turtles had eggsacs or something, like spiders and mantids or something. it sounds to me like one. that is most likely why they aen't eating. I don't think that petstores would sale poisonous plants. i could be wrong though.
