Males bob their heads and females wave? I have never noticed this with my reptiles?

Males bob their heads and females wave? I have never noticed this with my reptiles?
Both males and females will bob their heads and do the arm wave.. it's normally associated with breeding and social behaviors.. it's pretty funny to watch them do it the first few times if you have never seen it.
The more beardies you have the more you will see it, but occasionally they will do it to you their owner or just for whatever reason.

Dragons by Nature
We have one male dragon (about 5 months old) and we have never caught him bobbing, but my husband has caught him arm waving. When the little guy saw my husband peeking, he stopped. lol.
Recently, I've noticed that he puffs his beard out every morning. He doesn't turn it dark, just extends it.
Usually the bobbing/blackening of the beard will happen more often as the males become sexually mature. Maybe your guy will bob more when he gets a bit older? Everyone I show dragons to gets a kick out of it. Its reason enough to keep more than one, lol.
