Hey about 2 months ago i bought a 54gram virgin female and about a 3 weeks ago she had her 1st cluth and then last week her second while this sunday she should have her third she has em every 2 weeks well every other time both eggs have been visible this time theres clearly only 1 egg i no this happens some times the 1st clutch but the 3rd? plus she still has a nice fat tail and is down to 46 grams but still in great health

Do females lay eggs without having mated, resulting in infertile eggs? If yes, at what age do they start this? All of my girls are still quite small and in no way ready for laying.

This past season one of my females layed one large egg every other clutch and on her last clutch she layed her typical on large egg and a little egg the size of a pea. I thought that was weird.
