Water Habbits

Wizill Oct 21, 2003 07:07 PM

My new ball has recently began his shed period, his eyes have clouded over and his stomach looks a little different. Since I've noticed this, the ball has taken quite a liking to his water bowl. I have a small rubber maid container for a water bowl, and I have left the top on with a large corner cut out. Is it normal for him to stay in there for hours at a time? He's definitely breathing .
Thanks-
Will

I believe its normal for them to do that around their shed. The water will help it loosen the old skin from its body. My little guy refuses to go in his water dish unless I put him in and its the perfect temp. I wouldn't worry about it unless he wont stop even long after the shed.

Yes. Increase the humidity in his enclosure, he may be trying to tell you something.
