just searching for some info as research. i want to be prepared if my first year breeders get bound. any info such as possible ways to get the eggs out other than surgery would be helpful thanks

Before surgery, if the binding is caiught early enough, the vet usaually injects hormones to stimulate laying. Might be oxytocin? Hasn't happened to me (hope it never does!).

If the egg is too big to pass, I think there's a way for them to suck some fluid out of the egg to shrink down the size. You lose the egg, but at least you save your leo.
