Christians first changes?

secretlover Oct 21, 2003 07:36 PM

So I've had my first BP (Christian) now for about a month now. He's been doing great, great eater, very curious, and always trying to find a way out of his pen. Well, I fed him a good size mouse on Sat. went straight for it when he first saw it, and had a good feeding. I didnt touch of disturb him for 2 days after. Got him out yesterday to notice how he's bulked up since I've saved him but he was very differnt, not moving around that much, and not too active with his surroundings ( gave a few flicks of the tounge, but not what he's been like). He has been moving in his tank, moving from cool to warm sides during the day and night, but not going for the top of the tank, and always in a hid spot. Could this last meal taken alot out of him and now his like my dad on Thanx-giving in front of the TV sleeping? Just curious.

Just sitting there doing nothing....just like a normal healthy ball python.

I'm sure he's just fine because you said he ate for you and...an eating ball python is healthier than most.

My guess is he was looking around and so active because he was hungry! Now he's content, has a full belly, and will resume normal BP lazyness for a while.

Don't worry - he's fine. keep up the good work.
