. They change colors as they age. Most of them get better but some, especially the darker reddish ones can get too dark as they age. The crescents pretty much stay with them the same throughout life. Ask to see PICs of the parents but, this is not always a good predictor of how they will turn out. My prettiest orangest male came from very very brown parents. And,if the price is low the seller may not be inclined to spend much time taking and sending PICs.
