when i had my pther gecko niles (he passed away last weekend) i had a problem keeping up with the temp.........so, when i got rey i decided to see it i put up a divider if it would keep the heat better. so far it works!!!!!!!i have a 30 gal. i put the divider near the warm side not totally in the middle the cool side is bigger. and the temp has stayed at 88 on that side for the past 2 days now! the divider is a peice of cardboard (thin) it doesnt go all the way to the top of the tank there is about 3-4 inches between the top of the cardboard and the top of the tank. if anyone is having the problem i had you should try this. i used double sided tape to hold the cardboard to the sides of the tank heres a pic.................the white is the tape

i wasnt sure if it would work but it did its great especially with the weather changing here one day its 40 next it 70 i am in new york and mother nature cant make up her mind!!!!!!
