Fogger Questions

dragunzfyre Oct 21, 2003 08:57 PM

I have a giant day gecko and was thinking about getting a fogger over the weekend and was wondering if this was a good idea because i've heard of some problems from them, but it seems like the pros outweigh the cons just on the humidity side. I'd appreciate any input from anyone with experience with these.

I got a fogger on my tokay tank. Works great for humidty and visual effect. It does kinda develop a mildew smell after a while but I think thats the PVC maybe....no idea I'm working on that. Anyway it works great and doesnt do much harm to the bedding although I use bark. My only problem is that I cant find a timer that would turn it on for about 5 minutes at most because after the 30 (minimum on my timer)the tank is white with fog and the walls are dripping.
