My Mali Uro, embrodak has a couple wierd markings on his belly. The first appears to be from a bad shed, it's like a place where the scales are rubbed off. He's had it sense we got him into the store(aged 2 mo.), and it seems to cause him no pain. He also has a crease next to it, where the scales kind of form a rdige. No idea what it is. It doesn't seem to pain him .He's eating his greens like a beast( I dust every other feeding with calcium), accpeting his weekly mealies just fine(I dust all the mealies), but he has no interest in bird seed. He's basking alot in the 135 spot(the other side of the cage is around 80, nighttime temp is 75) and running around like he should be(or maybe not, he's EXTREMELY active). I have him on calci-snad substrate, and other than a bath and towel dry every few weeks, he doesn't get water. I've offered it, but he has no interest. I don't think that's the culprit anyway because he doesn't seem dehydrated, and he usually has a belly full of moist greens. He seems to develope fine, I'm seeing some hemi-penal bulges, and he's getting bigger. If you have any idea what it could be, I'd appreciate the help. Also, how much fat should be on a uro, his chest feels a bit thin. I'm not too worried, as he eats all his greens and a couple weekly mealworms. Also, is it ok that he's not into birdseed? I'm taking him to the vet next week probably for his 1 year check up.
