a very beginner question

Hi everyone! You can expect to see my posts here from now on since today I added a 5 month old leopard gecko to my small collection The rest of my collection consists of a bearded dragon hehe (a young yellow/sandfire male named Milton). I'm almost embarassed for asking this question...well...I am embarrassed because it'll make me sound stupid. But I've never had a nocturnal lizard before so my question is...is it's feeding time at night after it wakes up from sleeping during the day? I know my beardie eats the most a little while after he wakes up in the morning. I just don't know exactly what time to offer crickets and mealworms to my new new leo. I've done lots of reading on how to care for, and what to feed, leos...I just all of the sudden realized I don't know WHEN they eat. Thank you in advance for answering my extremely beginner question.

my leo eats a few minutes after he wakes up or after he's done exploring my arms and shoulders

if you leave crix in the night, their sounds might bug you...and make sure there's not too many in there coz they can annoy your leo and gang up on him - if u use mealies, u can keep em in a dish at night and whenever ur leo gets hungry, he'll come out n go hunting for them

aimee

have fun with ur new leO!

Late night, and early morning seem to be when my leos eat the most. That is when I offer them crix/waxworms/pinkies. I try my best to keep a small dish of mealworms available at all times. Don’t feel dumb for asking beginner questions, we were all beginners at one time.

Ok so my geckos must be weird.lol. they will eat anything at anytime. As soon as somebody comes in the room, they poke their heads out. Doesn't matter what time of day/night.
