Anoles go through a sort of hybernation in the winter months, especially if their photo period and tempture is naturally decreasing with the fall and winter months. They will sleep more, be lazy more, eat less and generally not be on the move as much as during the spring and summer months. Look at this link under Photoperiod for a better explanation then I can offer as I don't breed or change seasons on my anoles. If you don't want this to happen to them, then it's fairly easy to fix.

But like I said, this is my opinion, especially if they all have been happy green and eating and acting well up to this point. Hey I wish I could hibernate through the winter, would save me scraping ice off my jeep and ploughing through 4 feet of snow to go 10 miles to work every day
