Strange Turtle Food

turtlesong Oct 22, 2003 05:00 AM

Hi, I'm over in Korea and raising some turtles. I've been here a while and a typical, floating type of health food for turtles here is called 'Thang Chip Bio.' The turtles love it and it's pretty cheap. but I'm wondering how nutritious it is.

They just stopped selling 'Turtle Reptomin' where I'm living, for reasons which I really don't know why. They only sell 'Turtle Grammarus' and 'Thang Chip Bio.' So now I have to change to this 'Thang Chip Bio' stuff, and wondering if anyone here's familiar with it? It says on the package that it has calcium and other vitamins but I'm not really sure of its legitimacy compared to 'Turtle Reptomin.'

Does it have an ingredient list?
Also, you might be able to find a fish food that's basically the same thing as Reptomin.

Peter: It's OK, I'll handle it. I read a book about something like this.
Brian: Are you sure it was a book? Are you sure it wasn't NOTHING?

Yeah, it does, but now its completely in Korean. I want to know if this stuff is in the States, though.

Never heard of it in the States.
