Try giving the gecko a warm bath 3x a day. After a 5 minute soat in warm (not hot) water, apply a little hydrogen peroxide 3% solution to the affected area with a q-tip or cotton ball. Remove any skin that starts to lift off, but do not pull on tail. After each bath and application of HP, apply neosporin. The oils will help soften the dead, dry skin between baths and aid in removal, while protecting any raw areas from infection.
