Breeding

Hello all,
I have been trying to breed leos for about a year now, I have ended up with 2 infertile clutches out of 2 females now I have a trio i am working with the temp of their cage flucuates between 85 and 88 I have a 150 watt exo terra red bulb and a heat pad underneath the cage is a 60 gallon lizard lounge glass vented. the male weighs 110grams one of the females is 102 and the other 107 I dont know if I have a hot amle or what any advise would be helpful. thanks

1st year females sometimes start slowly - depending on age, health, etc.

Just watch for next year - they will probably be cranking out eggs like mad. The only thing I would suggest that you would use (Iif you don't already use it) is "Miner-all I" the calcium supplement. I have noticed a marked increase in egg production last year when I used this supplement. (No, I don't own minerall, LOL).

thanks for your input but these female have been bred before, the woman i got them from said they were about 2 1/2 years old.

OK - if that is the case - then I would just get them nice healthy - using a good supplement like Mineral I - and get ready for next year.
