Heliconia?

andersonii85 Oct 22, 2003 08:36 AM

Does anyone know of any miniature species of Heliconia that does well in dart tanks? The leaf axils on some species are deep, maybe a good option for specialized breeders. Just a thought.

This was something I started researching a couple of weeks ago. It seems that there are a couple of smaller species, but these do not look as though they have the leaf axils you're looking for. They are also no where near as spectacular as the larger species. Check out ebay; there are many species there.
