Putting once sick dragon with another...

ody Oct 22, 2003 11:36 AM

One of my dragons wasn't looking too good about 3 weeks ago so I brought her to the vet. The vet told me she had some sort of liver problem and coccidia. He treated her for the coccidia, and I gave her shots of I believe baytril for the liver problem. She is eating good now, and a lot more active then she was before. My question is should it be OK for me to put her back into a tank with another female, or should I wait longer?

Thanks!

You should wait until she gets a clean fecal done and the vet gives the OK.....coccidia spreads easily and even though she's eating better without a repeat fecal done you can't be sure she doesn't still have elevated levels.
