This is my 8mon old Blackthroat that I have been working on getting her healthy and removing about three to four layers of residual shed. She is doing a lot better. Still gaining weight and looks like she has even started to grow again.

Thanks for sharing the pics (above), looking great! I was wondering what your method is for removing the old layers of skin you mentioned? Anything besides soaking, etc?

She gets soaked every other day and even gets misted once a day. I only hope that I'm not overly hydrating her. She eats everyday now too. She's come a long way in a short time. It's really cool to watch the change. She is definitly starting to act like a monitor now. She even tried to bite me yesterday, it was great. Good luck with your little one.
