HOLY CR@P! Get your sunglasses out everyone! Beware you could be blinded! New Geckos - Pics!

Leo Lover Oct 22, 2003 04:05 PM

Here are 4 new geckos that I just got in today. New breeders for 2004. I am more than pleased! These guys are awesome! These are a few of my surprises, and I have 4 more coming so keep your eye on the forum!!!

I will say this right off the bat. These pics WERE NOT ENHANCED IN ANY WAY. Everything was taken in NATURAL SUNLIGHT. I do not touch up my photos in any way or form, I just crop them to a smaller size. If you dont believe me, then ALL of you can take a trip up to WI to see them yourself! I believe that if you "touch up" a photo you are misrepresenting the gecko itself. I dont care for people who "touch up" their photos. I like to see what I am REALLY GETTING if you get my drift.

Anyway here are the pics....

This is an abberant female tangerine Tremper albino that I got from Sarah Stettler. Look at the orange starting to seep through the pink bands. A wonderful friend and a wonderful person to do business with. This gecko is amazing!

This next gecko is a female tangerine Tremper albino. Also a beauty! She has some nice orange coloration coming in on her tail!

This guy is a het for tangerine albino and also VIVID'S clutchmate! How cool is that? If any of you have been following Sarah's post and seen her male albino Vivid, he is one AWESOME gecko and I am pleased to be working with the clutchmate! This guy appears to be in shed, well starting is what I mean so his colors aren't as vibrant right now. He's so friendly!

All these geckos have hypo genes. Meaning tang and CT genes. I cannot wait to work with this project. My goal is to create an ALL ORANGE Tremper albino. It will take a while, but it will be worth it!

NOW PREPARE TO GET YOUR SOCK BLOWN OFF AND BE BLINDED!!!!!

This female super hypo carrot tail came from Sean Niland from VMSHerp. This gecko is absolutely AMAZING. GORGEOUS! STUNNING! MAGNIFICENT! I cannot find the words for this gecko. She was worth every dollar I spent on her!!! She rocks my socks off! She looks so much better in person than the pic on his website! I could not stop saying "Oh my God" when I opened the box today. I thought I was going to pee my pants! LOL She is this beautiful reddish/orange color and I cannot wait to breed her! Sean is very nice and a great person to do business with wh has some killer looking carrot tails! Sean actually did not want to let go of her. :P Oh well I have her now!

This photo was not enhanced and taken in natural sunlight. She really does look this orangish/reddish, whatever! She's amazing. I am literally blind from looking at her! Sean forgot to put a warning on the outside of the box for me....a warning to wear my sunglasses! I only hope all your monitors are picking up on her outstanding color! All I can say is you get what you pay for man!!!!!

Oh my eyes! My eyes! :P

Cant you tell I am really excited about my new editions? I am getting 4 more, so this is only 1/2 of my excitement!!!! It feels like Christmas over here! LOL New Geckos!!!!!! Yaaaaaay! Sorry, when I see beauties like this I get overly excited, but this is what I love about geckos!

Nick-

Thank you for the compliments. I sure will be selling babies next year '04 from my orangish/reddish geckos. I will be keeping the nicest one back for my own stock, but I will be selling their offpsring. Just wait and see the male I have paired up for these nice ladies! WooHoo, your socks and pants will be blown off!!!!!

I have this gecko that I just got in today and another female that is reddish/orangish from Robert Coral. I named that one Aries (the one from Robert) She's got the color, but not as nice and clean as this one from Sean.

I am more than impressed with Seans geckos and will be doing business with him in the future!!!!

I still cant get over her amazing color. You have got to come to WI to see this awesome gecko. She's a breathtaker!!!

I have never been so exicited to see what comes next. This is what makes the leopard geckos so pleasurable to work with. I can't wait till early spring and summer to see what everyone produces. Myself included. Everyone definatley has some great projects going.

next year you are going to rock all our pants off with them fine lookin' geckos you are gonna produce.

That red tang is an absolute screamer. I'd love to find a het albino girl with color like that to add to VIVID's harem. I'm hoping to get a het albino red stripe from Ross next season, but if you or anyone else produces het trempers with a gecko like that next year or the year after even...let me know.

This is truly what I love about breeding, imagining the possibilities and making them happen. I didn't think I'd get a gecko of VIVID's quality til next season at least, if not the year after, and now I'm already envisioning the possibilities of a red hypo albino down the road.

You go, girl!

P.S. I just snapped a new pic of Vivid, clutchmate to the male Shayna purchased. He continues to get more carrot on his tail and is developing more carrot pigments on his body (this has just accelerated recently-knees, center of original bands). Not the greatest pic as it is so dark/foggy here now flash went off, but you get the idea.

Hi Shayna

So glad the gex arrived safe and sound. Looking at the abberrant female albino, the pic looks like there are some deep red spots tat look like a mild injury on her head. Not sure if that is just the photo or if they are really there, just wondering. They weren't there when shipped. If they are there, wondering if maybe a layer of cotton taped to top of lid might not be a good idea when shipping...ouch!
