I know I asked this before, but I still need help in determining an appropriate rate of growth for a hatchling Testudo hermanni. One person did post a chart indicating that his Russian baby gained approx. 10-15 grams a month the first year, but aren't Russians heavier than Hermann's? All the searches I've done have not yielded any concrete numbers, just terms like "slow, even growth is best." That's good to know, but not very helpful. If I stay within the perameters of the Jackson ratio, is that reasonable? If anyone here can give me numbers, I'd appreciate it.
