I WENT TO GO CHECK UP ON THEM, BUT NOW MY MEALIE IS GONE! HE WAS A VERY NICE RED MORPH. THEY ALL SHARE A TEN GALLON TANK, WITH A BUNCH OF CRICKETS. NOW THEYRE GONE TOO! hehehe, cute, I needed a chuckle tonight. I had fun transferring my 5,000 mealies (a 6 month supply, I order twice a year) from the shipping box into their new homes. What fun that is! A few of them managed to escape during the process, at least they will be quieter than those darned escaped pet crickets are! Although my pet basement spiders rely on the escapee pet crickets, so it all works out in the end, the whole circle of life thing... Good luck with your new pet mealie and crickets wherever you choose to adopt them from. Hope you get them soon so your Leo doesn't get lonely w/out his friends!

It was a big box, with lots of egg cartons in it. I should have just taken a big rubbermaid and dumped the whole thing in there, but I was trying to hold the egg cartons over the mealie shoeboxs and flip the worms off of it, that's where the escapees got their chance, falling off the back side of the cartons and missing the shoe boxs. It was actually the easiest time I ever had, the nicest box they ever sent. All the boxes I've gotten from them before had the screens stapled in, this one the screens were not stapled and came right out. That eliminated alot of work, cuz getting them from around the screens was always hard and I'd always stap my fingertips on the screen edges. Plus the boxes before allowed the worms to work their way into the corregation of the cardboard and you literally had to peel the box apart to get the worms inside of the cardboard. I was very happy with this new big box and non stapled screen. Not one worm got into the corrugation.

My son really enjoys the mealworms that have recently shed. He calls them albino mealworms and thinks we should breed them together to get more albino mealworms. I suggested we breed some with the normals and produce hets!

You can never have just one gecko. Actually it is almost impossible to have two
