Loma Alta Bullsnake . . . (PIC)

Here is a picture of a light phase highway 277 bull. She is a light phase animal. This line also seems to lighten with age. Hopefully she will calm down a bit, this hissing and striking will not be as funny at 8ft .

Gotta love big old normal bullsnakes!

Let me know if you want to pair her up and I will try and pick you up a male. Our company deer lease is at the dry cut for Mail Trail creek and I have seen a few of them from time to time on the lease. Thre was a big 6 1/2 footer that lives under the camp house. Cool snakes.

Daryl and I (this was before I weenied out and got sick and before Daryl got probed in Marfa) found a DOR on there that was much longer than I am tall. (I close friend, who shall remain nameless for his safety's sake, said that made the snake at least 4' long....lol.) It had to be right around 7' long, too. Dang it was beautiful. It also ruined our night to see such a majestic animal DOR right off the bat. Still, we caught a suboc and an atrox near Loma Alta that same night. It was fun...until I threw my glasses off of a cliff and had to follow Daryl down the slope like his #1 girlfriend because I was blind.

Nothing like that beutiful little fresh DOR we found on Bruni Road 2 years ago. Even Ossifer Spiderboy his hilarious sidekick "Tommy Boy" with the gay bullsnake lisp were too upset to smile for a while.

Heck, I've already downloaded and printed out the moon charts planning next year's south and west Texas trips. I can't wait. My next trip will be in February to try and find some more Brazos Island ratsnakes, I hope.

Kemper,

Nice looking snake, congrats. I know you dont like the hissing and biting, espcially when it hits 8 ft. Remember what my striped red bloods did to you? lol Better handle that thing every day take care
