snakes and loud music

colina May 29, 2003 12:24 AM

I am really in a bind here. On one hand i adore and love my 2 year old black pine. On the other i love listening to music. I have some really nice speakers that I like to listen to music on my computer, but since my computer is being moved into my room, i dont know how my snake will like that. Obiviously since they hear through vibrations and my sub shakes the house she must be able to hear it. If I have no other choice I will buy some nice headphones. If anyone has ever had this problem or has and ideas about wheather the noise will bother her.

Thanks

Colin

I know of people that have had snakes become so stressed by vibrations like that they stop eating. Get some headphones. Andy

When my son has his stereo going my pits do get active.

If your snakes twists it tail up to form the shape of a hand giving you the finger, I'd turn it down. Actually, if it's that loud that you have to ask, you might be stressing the snake out.
