What is the minimum size for breeding Western Hognoses? I have 2 females that are about 16-17 inches sv length, and about 70 grams. I thought those were too small to breed, but I saw an ad recently advertising Western Hognoses, already breeding, about 10-12 inches in length. I don't know if that was a misprint. Can anyone help with what an adequate size for breeding is? Thanks.

you can get eggs from them. Maybe 4 or so.
I had someone look at my 13" male and say it was an adult.

I would wait till the females put on more wait. 02 females that are about 24inches and almost 200 grams. That is more like breeder size. You can try to breed yours but I personally wouldn't. The males can breed as small as 12inches. You want your female to be at least 125-150grams.
