I am using a coco-fiber based substrate, which I know is deficient in nutrients for non-carnivorous plants. I also did not add any fertilizer to the medium when I reconstituted it. Black Jungle recommends Dyna-Gro for this.
My frogs are currently in smaller containers for the time being, probably another few weeks. Can I spray a dilute liquid fertiilizer on my plants now, or will it hurt my frogs when I put them in there in a few weeks?
If I can, can I also spray it even after the frogs are in the terrarium? (I assume not)
How do people keep their plants healthy when dart frogs are so sensitive to chemicals?
Thanks, and sorry for all the questions.
