Strange Behavior!!

z10silver Oct 22, 2003 07:43 PM

My male leo acts very strangely in the humid hide. The humid hide has tissue paper crumbled up and sprayed w/ water. When he goes in he immediatley attacks the tissue paper and bites off pieces as if he's trying to eat it. There are no mealworms or crickets in there that he could be after, and I thought he might be trying to get moisture from the tissue, but there is a water dish available. I am afraid of him becomming impacted from eating the tissue paper! Any ideas on what could be causing him to do this?

Hmm...it almost seems like hes trying to eat it. Maybe he thinks it looks like shed skin or something? Anyone have any other ideas?
