You know the cards help you keep track of you reptile and when the last time you fed it..

Personally I just keep records on a 5X7 card. One card for each animal and just date it when I note something. Fill up a card and go on to another and number it and 'archive' the filled cards. This way I could go back to forever for an animal. I also have a redundant notebook calendar to keep all the same info on. Though the day boxes can get filled up on a bigger feeding day it is easier to note cycles or patterns when it is out in front of me like that.
Things I note (and these are by no means a suggestion as some folks will keep more info and some less.) I note when they at and the animal type, weight, f/t, prekilled or whatnot. Whether it was scented, how enthusiastically it was taken, and about every month or two, depending on the age of the animal and all I weigh and measure them. Sheds, whether they were good or crappy. Poops. Odd notes or behaviors.

I use a card that was made up in excel. It has the feed dates, defecation dates, shed dates, a place for notes, etc. If you would like I can e-mail you the blank copy. As long as you have excel, it will work and you just have to print a copy or 12 up. lol.

i have on my wall a GIANT desk calendar and use a different color pen for each animal...then i simply write a food item and other notes on the calendar and don't have to specify what animal took it

Is it dry erase and you erase it every month? What happens if you run out of colors? lol. I can't imagine there being enough colors to cover my collection. I personally like using a card for each individual animal. I keep track of sheds, defecation, as well as eating. There is also a place for notes, where I write in wieghts, wormings, any other things.
