Does anyone have some naturalistic cage set-up pics?

Kaitlyn Oct 22, 2003 09:26 PM

Just a wondering. I have constructed a natural looking set-up for my leo out of sandstone and black calsi-sand. It consists of three different caves so she can pic her own temp, and the black substrate shows off her color. Sadly my camera is broken, so i don't have a pic of it yet. as soon as I can I will though.

Can I see any of the set-ups you guys have created?

Sadly, I don't have a camera, nor do I have an artistic naturalistic cage setup because of monetary limitations. (I will someday, though!)

Just out of curiosity, how old is your leo?

Where did you get your backgrounds

RedQuake Oct 24, 2003 09:48 PM

I bought my 20 gallon long tanks from Petsmart as a terrarium set. It came with those backgrounds, sample foods, lamp and light bulb, and a sliding screen top among other things. I love them alot, however i wish i could just buy the tanks without all of the other stuff.

The backgrounds are on cardboard that sit outside of the tank. The cardboard was wrapped in sulaphane with the other stuff and because of that is wowed so it doesn't sit straight. I like them and hope to redo my tanks with rocks and other decorations that match that background
