Another question about Resp. Infection

I have given my leopard two injections so far and am planning on giving her a third tomorrow. I give them every 48 hours. The doctor only gave me enough for 5 injections and I am only seeing a very slight improvement in her condition and I mean very slight. How long should it take before I see real results?

my vet usually prescibes baytril, one shot perday for 14 days. i've noticed that each tortoise responds differently. some recovers fairly quickly, others will take the full 14 days. in those cases, my vet will continue dosing for another week. either case, just make sure the sick tortoise is warm and well hydrated. hope this helps. good luck with your treatment.
