i need help identifying if my female is gravid......i need ways that usually are sure fire ways to tell, thanx n/p

The best way to tell is to feel of her tummy, you will be able to actually feel the eggs unless its early on. Also watch for digging, they will start trying to find a good nest site and will start digging about a week before laying. I hope this helps and good luck. Christy

Probably the only sure fire way to know she is gravid, is by X-ray. However, even this won't necessary detect the eggs early in her pregnancy.
