here is a pic of the tank i got my brooks in its called a 40gal breeder. Its about 4ftx2x1.5ft.
my brooks like to stay in the hide on the bottom left side most of the time, other part of the time he likes the hide on the bottom left. he only goes to warm side of tank on the day i feed him he will stay there for a day or so then go back to the other side, though he spends all night exploring it lol.
so what do you all think? sure beats the 15gal tank i had.
ps he is about 35in. long and eats 3 fuzzies every 3 to 4 days. growing really fast.

The substrate is called "Forest Bed expandable substrate"
its great stuff he loves to lay under it and have just his head pokeing out of it lol. Also when he deficates its clumps up in the bedding so its really easy to clean up. Of course i dont feed him on it i put him in a different container.

yea, sounds the same as the stuff i use(aspen) except yours has more of a earth tone color , i like it , thanks for the info
