Sometimes when im accross the room getting her bugs ready, I wonder if my cham. can see me that far away. Anyone have examples of how far you know your cham can see?

I've been curious about that, too. Sometimes Luna will get so excited once her cup is in there that she races to it - as if she didn't see it coming, and other times she will eyeball my cat in a chair-8 feet away!

If you think about it chams need excellent distance vision for travelling around in large trees in the wild. They often stalk insects from a distance too. They are very territorial and males will display to each other from completely separate trees. I've seen my chams react to birds perched outdoors in the yard 20 yards away from the house. Chams have really good vision similar to birds.

and trust me they can see really far. I mean REALLY far away.
I know because sometimes I see them crouching down and clinging to my arm and I will follow their eye (at least one of them) to see what they are looking at and usually it is a bird/seagull way up so far it looks like a speck to me but that cham eye will follow it around till it is out of sight. A chameleons eye is sort of like a telephoto lens. Imagine looking at the world through 2 telephoto lenses. Imagine how everything would look to them. No wonder they stress out and are frightened by things they see!

When I take my cham outside, the neighbor's dogs see me and they go to the fence to be pet. I know my cham can see them about 30 yards away because she hides under my arm while staring at them.
