A question for everyone who keeps small snakes

Langi Feb 08, 2003 04:17 PM

Yes I know I already posted this but I can't get into the archive and they moved all the post before I could read it.

Well I have two corn snakes and I would like to get another kind of snake. One that maybe gets a little bigger then a corn and with about the same temperment. I was considering a milksnake or sand boa though they aren't any bigger. Please let me know what you think.

I seem to remember that in your post the other day you gave a size range that you were looking for, and based on that several people suggested some of the North American Ratsnakes. Black Rats, Yellow Rats, Gray Rats, and other related species are excellent choices. Personally, I think if you like corns, you'll love some of the ratsnakes. Do some Q & A on the ratsnake forum to zero in on a species if this sounds interesting. Good luck with your choice, whatever it is.

I do miss the old format. I liked it much better.
