Try this.
Set the chair in some white sand and prop a little umbrella (like for drinks) in the sand next to him. (make sure nothing else shows in the background)
That is so cute you could sell those prints!

Cute pic, thanks for sharing. Most lizards will "chill out" when placed on their backs. Remember all those pics that one guy took of iguanas? When I had a larger collection of animals I had Beardies and Collareds. They would all do that if I flipped them over. I had some precious pics of the Collareds. I never flipped them for long because I wasn't sure if there was stress involved. I'm sure you've seen it done with alligators and crocodiles. I will admit, Leos are usually more wiggly and it is a tad harder to get them to do this. I would be curious as to the actual reason that they freeze up. I tend to think of it more as a stress reaction than a matter of trust. I'm not slamming you, I've done it myself to get cute pics, I'd just advise you don't do it often or for extended periods of time (more than a few seconds). Just my opinion. It really is a cute picture.
