moss growing

how can you grow moss on the backwall of your viv.any sugestions?
I attached it to the wall on mine which is foam with coco bedding glued to it.and it seems like it's dying
It's wild moss and it had a thin layer of dirt under it.will it root to a coco fiber roll with minimum substrate? anyone have any tips on general moss growing?
