CAGES BY DESIGN

rowad Oct 23, 2003 12:01 PM

Greetings people
does anyone know if Cages By Design cages are suitable for tegus? The company said (of course) that they have housed tegus successfully in their cages, but 'm curious as to what everyone here thinks?

My kANE IS IN ONE from them. The cage itself is pretty ghetto. However, it still serves its purpose. The doors of the old models suck though, the adhesive backing came off but it was nothing that couldn't be fixed w/screws thru the plexiglass and a little duct tape couldn't fix. The bottom fasteners(zinc plate) are pretty much fused to the wood. They have a new model out and it's supposed to be pretty good.

I don't know anything about tegus, but I don't see why they wouldn't work. I have an older model then the cages they sell now tho. The one I have was oak and plywood, and not very well contructed. They are making them with a metal frame now.

I can relate(long time no see j/k). I'm still trying to figure out why mine still stands. It might be the duct tape. I'm thinking about giving the new model a shot though.
