Hey all!
I'm getting an adult breeding pair of Helmeted Geckos and after doing an internet search for care info I've found it to be severely lacking. I've been keeping and breeding reptiles for over 15 years and have a pretty good grip on their captive requirements but would like to get some input from other keeping and breeding this species. Any information about your setup and feeding regimens would be appreciated. Also specifics about conditioning your animals for breeding would be helpful. Thanks in advance for any assistance provided.
Thanks,
Pete

Why not ask the breeder for a care sheet about the unrelated captive-bred 1.1 Helmeted Geckos you're purchasing from them?
In California a care sheet is required (new state law) with every reptile purchase.
Where did Small Drgons get their Helmeted Geckos?

I have received care info from the breeder but I'm looking for additional input. Just because one person is successful doing this his or her own way doesn't mean that there aren't other ways of doing them.
thx,
Pete

You're right! It's always good to get information from a number of breeders.

A few days ago, I received an e-mail without a name (just signed with a "P" requesting Helmeted Gecko care information. I responded, but haven't heard back from him/her. Pete, if that was you, did you receive my reply?

And....Aaron, thanks for your kind words, once again.
