I was just wondering how many of you may have thought about this and what you have done to ensure that your reptiles are well cared for should you die unexpectedly. I mean, any one of us could die on any given day, right? And then what happens to our pets? I know that for most herp hobbiests it is just a few snakes and maybe it's easy for the spouse or immediate family to give them to close associates and friends. But what about those of us that have hundreds? And what if you aren't married and there's no close family to care for them?

Until I was married my will was completely structured around my animals being taken care of and all my assets going to one caretaker and toward that end. But now, I trust that my wife would continue on as we have been. But should something happen to the both of us, the original will is effective.

What will happen to your snakes if something happens to you?
