Looking to make my collection more "compact." I need to build some racks/wooden cages. I'd appreciate any advice and or websites that may be available as to what type of wood to use, what not to do, etc.

Take a look at this link. Dwight has some good stuff here and this is where I modeled my rack after.
I went and bought the plastic containers before I started so I knew how big the spaces had to be in the rack.
I built one that will hold 12 32 quart sterilite boxes.
I ordered the flex watt heat tape and connnectors from bean farms.
