Color change question

nemoray May 29, 2003 08:32 AM

My chondro is now about 17 months old and has finally begun her color change. This question may be pretty dumb. Is the change in any way related to shed cycle, that is, does the onset of change mean a shed is close. Because of her color, it has always been hard to tell when she enters a cycle. I do disturb her or feed her if a cycle is pending. I've been keeping boids for years, but this is new to me. Thanks for any info. You can e-mail directly to Nemoray@aol.com, or post here so others may benefit. Thanks. Ray

i don't think its dependent.. my gtp started morphing 5 to 6 months ago... but till now, she's still yellow with small green patches and blue specks. only 10% of here body is green. and after every shed, the green increases only a bit. i've noticed that more green specks are appearing in between sheds..
