A URO female and a Beardie female together

Dont worry guys im not gonna do it.. I was just wondering if it was possible to put them together in the same tank? Would they fight? Has anyone tried?

hum, yes i have heard of it, no i would not recomend it. You would probably have to put them together at a young age so they wouldn't "know" really. If you arent thinking of doing it why are you asking? Two very different diets and therefore one would suffer, probably the uromastyx since it would eat too many insects.

I did it about 5 or so years ago. They were big, fat, and healthy. I would feed them all of thier veggies in thier cage, then i would take out the beardies and feed them some crickets. They got along great and they never fought eachother. They would bask, eat and sleep together. I had 2 uros and 2 beardies and one time they were all piled on top of eachother. So i think that they do get along. But now that i know that uros and beardies have dif. parasites and that you have a chance that the beardies will give some unwanted parasites to the uros and vice versa. I would ask a breeder who breeds both types of animals and see what they say about houseing them together.
