Sorry i didn't nswer you sooner; been away a few days. I did rescue the nippy BP from a bad pet store situation awhile ago. She had been returned twice by people who got bitten by her, so I got her free. I handle her often, but she is still extremely nippy and stressful when approached. I have taken her to the vet, who found no parasites, and nothing else wrong.
She does calm down a little while after being removed from the cage, but not as calmly as normal bps. But I still love her the little brat that she is, and I would not trade her for the world! She is very healthy and eats like a champ. Loved her so much that I bought a new male a few weeks ago, an experienced adult who does not mind being handled at all. Here's a pic of him:
