Kelli-

We are going to have to do some trading/business with eachother in '04. Rocket is outstanding and I'd love to have offspring from him!

Where did you get him?

I got him and this girl in a trade I did with Ruben at Taino Reptiles (fantastic guy BTW). Both of these albinos were actually produced by A & M Gecko, so all kudos should go to them. I was (and still am) amazed at how beautiful these geckos are. I have never been all that crazy about Tremper albinos, maybe because all of the ones I ever had were, well, brown! But there has been much progress made with them the past few years for sure.

Yes, let's trade next year! I love doing trades.

You know I was the same way with the Tremper albinos to. At first I was never crazy about them either. I actually liked Rainwaters, but my first albino was Tremper. Since then I have taken a liking for them since some of these Trempers are all these beautiful colors!!!!

I have talked to Rueban on the phone before and he is a very nice guy. I was actually considering buying a trio from A&M this year, but I decided not to. Some other project came up instead and I felt terrible to tell Alberto that I would pass on the trio. Next year hopefully though.

Yes I would love to do a trade! You have some kick @$$ geckos Kelli! I cannot wait to see what you are going to produce!!!

just wondering how u will incubate the eggs from that tangerine albino pair (very nice by the way) next year? i'm curious to see how drastic the differences in offspring are if u incubate them like u did before, or like u did with some eggs this year.

Great question BTW... I only incubated 100 eggs using Trempers method, most of the were hypo carrot tail crosses. I did this strictly as an experiment, I already pretty much knew what the end result would be, but I wanted to see for myself. You probably remember my posts about having very bad results using this method. I lost a lot of eggs and had a lot of deformed babies, full term dead etc. Many of those that did hatch ended up being MALES! And to top it all off, I noticed no difference in their color at all! So, to answer your question, NO, I will not incubate any of my eggs using Tremper method. It will be interesting to see if the tangeirne albino pair I have produces "brown" babies or if they are nice as the parents, even when incubated at 80 degrees.

BTW, Jon, I have been trying repeatedly to email you and all my emails to hotmail, yahoo accounts keep bouncing back to me for some reason, very annoying. I will try emailing you thru kingsnake now.
