lizards leads

mismodliz Oct 24, 2003 10:44 AM

Has anyone used the lizard leads (leashes) they have available? My beardie has been going crazy in his cage, running around and clawing spastically at the sides. Last night, he was doing running starts and leaping off of his basking area. I think he wants to run around, but I don't have a safe area for him to be let loose. And I have a cat!

Suggestions? Or is this normal behavior....

yeahh..you're ilttle man wants a run.

I'm rather fortunate...I'm able to let my beardies (one at a time) for a run in my 1 bedroom apartment. I basically had to childproof it prior, but now they run around in the evenings ..I have a pretty large bathroom, which I can just put Mr. JEeves on the ground in, and shut the door. he has a nice space to run around in for an hour or so.

Just a suggestion. You don't have a bedroom/bathroom, etc you can shut the door of? That usually works well, and they love having the space to run!
