Hi, I just got a couple water Dragons in the summer. They trned out well considering I bought them and didn't know how big they would get. Now they have free roam of my room and I dont have a room really, a lot of my furniture has gone now. Anyways my bf says he will get me another lizard for my birthday in january, this time i'm doing my research. I heard beardies have a really good pesonality. I would love to hear about anyone elses. oh and how is thier poop? and do they ever bite? Thanks Pamie

I have heard many people refer to beardies as the "dog of lizards" b/c of their loving and gentle personalities -- and I have to agree! My guy is even a little more aggressive than most b/c I bought him at 5 months old; he hadn't been handled much. But he's wonderful.

He has never bitten me or even attempted. He hissed once at a friend of mine that woke him up and handled him, but that's the one and only negative reaction I've seen (and I don't blame him).

They make wonderful pets -- just do your research. I did tons and have had my guy for a year and a half, and I'm still full of questions and learning about him!
