Do you cycle your leo's?
If so what measures do you take and what time of year do they breed?
any other insights on cycling would be appreciated.
Thanks.

They don't need to be cycled in order to breed, although they get somewhat of cooling with the natural temperature drop in the winter. I leave their heat on year round.
My mature females normally start ovulating in late fall, hatchlings begin to make their appearances in late January. However I have probably gotten eggs every month of the year.

Just drop the temps in you tank for a couple months. I've found that if you separate the male from the females during this time, he's more eager to breed when they get put back together. In Feb. or March, start raising the temps. Breeding should start shortly after and you'll have eggs a few weeks later.
I've also had success with no cycling at all.
